What is the Fine Furniture Gallery?
The Fine Furniture Gallery is the only online gallery that exclusively showcases the world's premier furniture makers. It's your one place to find truly hand-made pieces of the very best quality being offered today.
Every unique piece we select is museum quality and 100% hand-made by world
renowned craftsmen and women that we have personally invited to the site.
Every piece here is available for sale. If it is not immediately available it (or more than one, if desired) the piece can be made in the artisan's shop within a reasonable time frame. Nothing on this site is factory made - it is all made in small, mostly solo shops by independent artisans who have been recognized as the best in their field. That's what makes Fine Furniture Gallery unique and special.
If you want a custom piece based on ideas that you have, just fill in the contact form and tell us what you are looking for: We'll work with you one-on-one to find the best makers to turn your idea into a meaningful masterpiece. Whether your project is tiny or your idea is a big one we offer a personalized service to find you the makers who can best get it done. Our makers are granted full artistic license and invited to make the pieces that they love; the kind of work that pushes them to the extremes of their ability, wins awards, and is worthy of museums and exhibits (many of the works on this site have been in both). That said, give us parameters and we'll work within your budget. That's another thing that makes this site unique:
We aim to be the go-to resource for designers, architects, and commercial clients who want to stand out from the crowd, defy the trends, and provide the most exceptional pieces for discerning clients.
Folks are weary of our throw-away, hyper high-tech culture. There's a resurgence in appreciation of authentic traditional craftsmanship and of the old ways of doing things. We all share an innate desire to make and create and to connect with those who do so with excellence. I started making furniture 40 years ago because of my own longing to work with my hands, producing very personal things of beauty
through patient concentration,
continual honing of skills, and creativity. In this age of mass-produced, poorly constructed furniture we present a unique resource where we have brought together, in one place, museum quality works of unmatched beauty, solid construction, and integrity; pieces made by independent artisans who take pride doing things the right way, having an emotional connection with their materials and methods; furniture and accessories that might take hundreds of hours to make and are made to last for generations. Quality has no substitute. Our makers go to incredible lengths to build longevity into their pieces. You can be assured that everything sold here will become an heirloom and an investment that will pass from generation to generation.
Nowhere else can solo, independent small-shop owners find a targeted world-wide market that Fine Furniture Gallery can provide. We extend a major effort to find the right buyers through extensive marketing to high-end designers, architects, and to a discerning and appreciative clientele. That's another thing that makes this site unique - we are a service to the makers as much as we are to our customers. We desire to support the makers, help them gain more of the recognition that they deserve, and enable them to get back to doing what they love by providing a much wider audience than would be remotely possible for an independent artisan. Fortunately, there is an increasing demand for high quality craftsmanship, beautiful natural material, and sustainably made products.
